52 times worse then the Sunday night kind!
I’m sad to see summer go. My babies walk off into the next year of school year.
I love summer and the lazy days with slow mornings. I love waking up to the small footsteps of kids running into my room to snuggle in bed.
Or better yet when I wake before them. I get a chance to make a cup of coffee and enjoy it before anyone wakes. Then be able to spend time with each one as they wake. They enjoy this little on on one time as much as I do.
It’s crazy to sit on the tip of fall. Just like I did a few months ago with summer. With all these expectations of what it’s going to be like.
I do have to say this summer exceeded any of my expectations. Maybe it’s because I didn’t have any or because my kids are now at an age where they can take some responsibility for themselves. It’s wonderful little bubble to live in. If you would of told me a few years ago this was possible I would not of believed you.
As the weather cools and anticipation of first day of school is upon us makes me excited for the new school year to begin.
