Fall simple syrup

Its officially fall but the weather hasn’t completely turned. I was looking for a fall drink but still light and I can’t resist a little bubbly. I added this simple syrup recipe to my prosecco and kicked it up a notch with a shot of vodka. The best cocktails are the ones that are strong but you can’t taste the alcohol.
This one is super easy and you can make a big batch of the symbols syrup and store it in your fridge for up to two weeks. This makes it a quick drink to have anytime!
I love that you smell how good it’s going to taste before your first sip.

Fall simple syrup
1 cup water
1 cup sugar (I use natural raw)
2-3 sticks of vanilla
3-4 sticks of cinnamon
1 Apple sliced
Bring just below a boil then simmer for 20 minutes

1 tablespoon of Fall simple syrup
1 shot of vodka
2 dashes of cardamon (optional)
Top with prosecco
Garnish with an apple from the simple syrup mix
